The Chinese autocratic regime gleefully fulfills this definition. <st1:country-region st="on">China</st1:country-region>’s forced occupation of <st1:place st="on"><st1:country-region st="on">Tibet</st1:country-region></st1:place> has led to the <a href="http://in.rediff.com/news/2008/apr/18franc.htm">deaths</a> of an estimated 1.2 million Tibetans. Additionally <st1:country-region st="on">China</st1:country-region>’s <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A21143-2004Dec22.html">direct support</a> of the <a href="http://www.unitedhumanrights.org/sudan_genocide_genocide_in_sudan.php">Sudan genocide</a> blatantly continues. Within <st1:place st="on"><st1:country-region st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place>'s borders, compulsory family “planning” and <a href="http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2005/may/05052706.html">forced abortions</a> are universal. <st1:place st="on"><st1:country-region st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place> has hundreds of <a href="http://www.cecc.gov/pages/roundtables/062305/index.php">forced-labor prisons</a>, which hold political and religious dissidents.
